History
A stereotypical Mekhet, some rumors speak of Xavier having roots stretching as far back as the age of Charlemagne. Born of Iberian Moorish noble descent, he is a gentleman, scholar, philosopher, and spiritualist with interests spanning a vast range from history to astrology, from transcendence and consciousness to iconography and ontology, all aspects of reality and the mind he is said to consider as his domain. Polished in charm, wit, and grace; suave, sophisticated, and urbane; Xavier has been known to adopt the stylizations of aristocracy and nobility throughout history, in the modern era however he seems to epitomize the echoes of Victorian class and arrogance. An archaeologist, treasure hunter and researcher he is known to be one of those curious (and some say patently unbalanced) kindred who enjoys traveling the world in search of rare texts, lost artifacts, and legends of things not seen or better left be. The fact that many of his peers consider his wandering ways proof of his insanity, it does not stop him nor his associates from delving deeply into the dark mysteries of the unknown.
Xavier is known to have had some sort of tie to the Circle of the Crone in his early years, being affiliated with the mysterious Egyptian based faction; however in these modern nights it is fairly common knowledge that he is a highly influential member of the enigmatic Ordo Dracul. In fact for the discerning inquirer, it is rumored that Xavier was one of the FIRST members of the covenant, and studied under the tutelage of Dracula and his daughter-brides directly. This is supported by the fact that during his time as a member of the London Academy he was one of those considered to be Attaches for the Onyx Oath Founder, the engimatic Lady Lisette. While never known to be highly politically motivated in individual domain affairs, rumors that Xavier is one of the most sought after information resources have managed to ensnare many unwary parties.
With connections and appearances in many parts of the world, from Egypt to Wales, from Russia to South America, Turkey to Madagascar, China to the American Pacific Northwest, Xavier has a tendency to appear where things are most avidly afoot.
