About Theo

Quiet, deferential, unobtrusive and unambitious, Theodoric has spent the decade of his unlife (and some time before that) in service to the Ordo Dracul and a number of its members, most recently his sire Brogan Ackart. Speaking rarely, owing to an affliction of the throat that renders his voice soft and gutteral, he has crisscrossed the country as a messanger, researcher, and courier for various Dragons and academies. Though these duties have cut deeply into his own research time, something usually jealously guarded and horded by Dragons, Theo seems to enjoy the work and says only that he 'finds the time here and there' when asked about it.

The time spent working for others, it seems, has given Theodoric an amazing depth of knowledge on seemingly almost any matter and a memory like a steel trap. Fluent in eight languages, passable in nearly a dozen more, the bulk of his personal research seems to be linguistics, geneology (primarily mortal), and the places where science and religious mysticsm intersect. How these all add up to his own personal Work is as of yet unclear.

The one persistant oddity to an otherwise unremarkable member of the Ordo Dracul is that Theodoric does not make any secret out of being a member of the Impaled faction or being devoutly religious. Whether the tendancy towards mortification of the flesh as an Impaled came before or after his devout faith is a mystery that Theodoric has thus refused to answer.
