Tim Ashford
Timothy James Ashford, Jr. is a fifth year Ravenclaw at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. He's always had a natural knack for Charms, and thus, excels in that class, and also does quite well in Defense Against the Dark Arts. However, he thinks he could do without classes such as Divination, which he thinks is almost useless, Care of Magical Creatures (he is actually quite scared of some of the creatures), and tends to struggle with Potions.
For the most part, his home life has been stable. He gets along best with his muggle mother, Helen Ashford, and is very much a mama's boy. Tim was also quite close to his sister, Ellen Ashford, who was killed in a Death Eater attack when he was nine. Because she died trying to protect him, Tim's father, Timothy Ashford, Sr., places part of the blame for his daughter's death on Tim; hence they don't always get along. He also dislikes his father's strict nature and prefers to be more relaxed. The Ashfords have two other children -- Alicia, 19, who is a bit of a snob, and Olivia, 18, a serious mannered person training to become an Auror. Personality-wise, he is sort of withdrawn, but can become outspoken and passionate about issues he feels strongly about. Generally, he is trusting and friendly to just about everyone, and only through continuous provocation will he ever get angry; most of the time if he is teased, he just sits there and stews.
Relationships
Tim is currently dating Gabriella Richards, and couldn't be any happier than he is with her. He's had a crush on her since their fourth year, and towards the beginning of fifth year, he finally got the nerve to admit these feelings. Their relationship has been growing stronger since then, and they are quite possibly the sappiest pair at Hogwarts. Not that he minds.
While not extremely close, Tim considers his roommates, Derek Bly and Nathaniel Woods to be good friends of his. The two of them don't always get along, and oftentimes, he feels stuck in the middle of their arguments, which frustrates him, to be honest. However, Tim is quite supportive of Derek's relationship with Hannah Salix and couldn't be happier for the couple.
He also considers Lisette Jasinski, a classmate and housemate of his, to be a friend and can always count on her as a source of information, whether it be about her half-sister, Jelly, or the latest gossip at Hogwarts. While they haven't got to chat as much lately, Amaury Oniyama and Samantha Jones are people he would call friends and people he could count on when things get difficult. Tim also seems to think Vincent Monroe is one of the coolest guys ever, but he can be quite deluded sometimes.
One of the people Tim will never understand is a second year Ravenclaw named Gillichu Chandler. For reasons unknown to him, Gillichu seems to hold a grudge against Tim, and pushed him down the stairs, causing him to break his leg and his parents to pull him out of school for a month. Upon his return, Gillichu threw frogspawn at him.

Pisceans possess a gentle, patient, malleable nature. They have many generous qualities and are friendly, good natured, kind and compassionate, sensitive to the feelings of those around them, and respond with the utmost sympathy and tact to any suffering they encounter. They are deservedly popular with all kinds of people, partly because their easygoing, affectionate, submissive natures offer no threat or challenge to stronger and more exuberant characters. They also dislike disciple and confinement. The nine-to-five life is not for them. Any rebellion they make against convention is personal, however, as they often times do not have the energy or motivation to battle against the Establishment.
