Jenna Cortez was born in Argos, her parents having emigrated from Mexico some few months before she was born. Her upbringing was traditional heavily Catholic-influenced, and in a large family that included 3 older brothers and a younger sister. Like most Hispanic families in the area, the family stayed close, and worked blue-collar jobs together. Now, JC runs a small auto repair business with her father, and works the local boxing circuit in her free time.
JC stands about 5'4", and has dark hair cropped very short. She tends to be pretty light-hearted most of the time, but is tough as nails, and doesn't put up with anyone's shit. There is a tattoo that looks like a stylized fleur-de-lis on her left arm, which up close reveals a several flourishes around a Mary figure with a banner that says 'Strength in Temperance'. She's also extremely proud of her ability to stand up right alongside other men in a sport that traditionally isn't women-friendly.
Jenna unfortunately lost track of most of her family when the emergency hit, and her nature pushes her to protect anyone she finds with the ferocity of a mother guarding her children, though her anger makes her seem unlike that's the case sometime.
