  • Members have the ability to summon loa to possess members. Most of those granted with possessions are in the upper echelons of the group.
  • The group harbors an unusual number of psychics and mediums; at least 80% have some kind of minor power.
    • Jenette Williams is the most powerful psychic not permanently tied to one of the loa.
    • Samael is the most powerful, having leeched many of Baron Samedi's powers.

  • The group practices human sacrifice. Cultists and kidnapped victims alike are used in such rituals.
  • All cultists are given a kris, namely used for sacrifice; it is also commonly used for self-protection.
  • Technically, there are two classes of cult members:
    • Black robed members are called neonates, and are the majority of members (90%)
    • Red robed members are called lords, and make up most of the rest of the membership (9%)
  • A third class, unknown to outsiders, exists: the Darkness-Born. They wear purple robes, and lead rites when Samael or Jacob are unavailable (1% of members). They only wear the purple robes during ceremonies; otherwise, they wear red.
