I could see this polling aiptpcalion being very useful, not only as a Web 2.0 app, but also in the classroom. This aiptpcalion allows people to create and send out polls in a private setting. Anyone can create a poll about anything and send it to whomever they want. In the classroom, a teacher could use this aiptpcalion to create different polls about many different topics such as, students' comprehension of a lesson, what reward the students want for good behavior, or collecting classroom responses for data. Some advantages to this aiptpcalion is that it is free to anyone, it does not limit the amount of participants participating in the poll, it does not limit the amount of options for the poll, and the responses are anonymous. One disadvantage to this aiptpcalion is that to distribute the poll, every participant must be sent their own access code. This could be somewhat tedious for a large group. Another downside is that the aiptpcalion only shows the winner. It does not show how many voted for each option. This could make collecting data difficult. For these reason, I recommend that the Decing aiptpcalion be used in smaller groups and only when a clear winner needs to be decided.
