Applicant update: DH reviews ST 2007 Round 1

After discussion with the medical Royal Colleges and the BMA, the Department of Health yesterday announced a review into Round 1 of applications to ST 2007, made through MTAS.

Led by Professor Neil Douglas, President of the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh and backed by the Academy of Medical Royal Colleges, the review will be completed at the latest, by the end of March, so that any changes can be made in time for Round 2, which begins on 28 April 2007.
