Freeport is a small but wealthy nation south of the Badlands. Because of this location, smaller settlements are constantly under threat of attack. The citizens are fiercely patriotic and proud. Most of the citizenry inhabits the main coastal city, also called Freeport, and they have a tendency to think that they are the only part of the county that actually matters. They also tend to feel entitled to far more than people from other countries, which has led to strained international relations.
