Gruunush is an Administrative Division and Province of Mainland Carops. It has a population of around 14,500,000, mostly concentrated around the densely-populated Aemar corridor. Gruunush is one of the wealthiest areas of Carops and also the most ethnically-homogenous, with 97% of the population claiming Lindite ancestry, but with 98% describing themselves as ethnically Caropsyne. Gruunush is one of the most densely populated areas of Carops, made famous by its barley and local dances. The Carthen population is centred around Gomasna, and Gruunush was once a major centre of ethnic Ardalians, before the Ardalian Expulsion at the hands of the Fostana. Today the largest employer in Gruunush is the petrochemicals industry, focused around Foromosc, the birthplace of Carops Oil. As well as this many Gruunush residents are employed in manufacturing and the services industry.
