Amparists

The Amparists are the members of the alien council, which serves as a temporary leadership group on the alien planet. When Deep Blue was killed, the alien council was formed in an attempt to keep order of the planet, and develop plans to reform it with influence of the technologies from Earth. However, because of the sudden, mysterious loss of their former leader, many alien citizens have begun to rebel against the council, such as the popular group of Returners, who have succeeded in forming a war against the Amparists, in order to prevent their old traditions from being lost.
The current known members of the Amparists are Kisshu, Taruto, Pai, Cannoli, and Sumiko.
The name "Amparist" comes from the Spanish word amparo meaning protection.
