The War of Sovereignty was fought between the Houses of Rougan and Everdee in the country of Ghandal in the year 2306.

[edit] Causes of the War
The cause of the War of Sovereignty was over the question of who should rule the Kingdom of Ghandal. Historically the Houses of Rougan were the rulers of Ghandal, but the House of Everdee contested these facts due to an old scripture stating that the House of Rougan stole the throne from the House of Everdee, and that the true rulers of the Kingdom were the Everdee's. However, the Rougans did not believe the authenticity of these document and stated that what the everdee's claimed was irrelevant. These incident between the two houses again sparked the ages long rivalry between the two Houses in Ghandal. The incident brought forth one of the bloodiest war ever recorded in the history of Ghandal.
[edit] Results of the War
The war lasted for almost two years with heavy losses in life and properties from both factions. The Everdee suffered the most lost and had lost portions of the land that they control to Rougan's. The final battle of these War was fought in the small town of Ulcin in 2306. At the conclusion of these war a ceasefire agreement was signed by both houses, with the House of Everdee having to pay reparations for the damages costing to nearly 10,000,000 Seirams . The Head of the Everdee House was forced to accept his defeat and also forced to recognize the authority of the Rougans as the true rulers of Ghandal. Despite their defeat the Houses of Rougan did not seize the properties of the Everdee's or removed them from power, they still control the Region which is called the Everdee until now.
