-- The School of International Service invites applications/nominations for a tenure-line position at assistant professor or untenured associate professor level in the field of international peace and conflict resolution, starting in the 2009-2010 academic year. Qualifications: PhD or equivalent degree in a related discipline required as well as a record of teaching and research excellence. The successful candidate will have a combination of two or more of the following specializations: Conflict Prevention; International Ethics; Nonviolence Theory and Practice; Peace Education; Reconciliation; and Religion and Conflict Resolution. Regional specializations are welcome, particularly in South Asia and Central Asia.

-- Candidates should send a letter of intent, curriculum vitae, three letters of reference, evidence of teaching effectiveness, copies of relevant publications, and a graduate school transcript.
