-- ELIGIBILITY: The Scheme is open to suitably qualified, nationally and internationally based candidates. Applicants are eligible only if their PhD has been awarded or submitted at the closing date. The Fellowship can not be commenced until the PhD has been awarded, which must be by 30 June 2009. Applicants are eligible only if their PhD was awarded on or after 1 March 2003 (early career researcher).

-- FUNDING: Fellows must be based at Macquarie University for the full term of the Fellowship. The scheme awards provide a salary within points 6 to 8, Level A of the University's Academic Salary Scale (http://www.pers.mq.edu.au/Enterprise/index.html). Applicants may apply for up to $50,000 over three years for research costs associated with the proposed project (up to a maximum of $20,000 in any one year).
