'Imaging Asia,' a celebration of the 20th Anniversary of the NETWORK FOR THE PROMOTION OF ASIAN CINEMA (NETPAC) as Asia's leading organization in the promotion of Asian films and filmmakers, is a five-day film event to be held on August 18-22 in New Delhi, India. This event will include a four-day conference, film festival and nightly performances and exhibitions featuring Asia's proto-cinemas. Invited to speak in the conference are 25 internationally-renowned film personalities representing various fields of interest focused on the subject of Asian cinema. Led by NETPAC Founder and President, Aruna Vasudev, Garin Nugroho, Xie Fei, Kim Dong Ho, Intishal al Timini and Nick Deocampo, invited personalities include film scholars, festival programmers, film directors, critics and representatives of funding agencies.
