The title track was inspired by rumors that Cassie Bernall, one of the students killed in the Columbine High School massacre, had answered "yes" to the question "Do you believe in God?" moments after seeing another student killed for answering "yes" to that same question.

The lyrics speak vividly of what was thought to have happened, the questions this raised, and the continuing impact on Christian thought:
