The tale of the Hakiems Tribe has no known exact starting point, though it is known that they were in existence over one thousand years ago, during the era of the Hero of Time.

With Zaboorak's induction into the Hakiems Tribe came access to a multitude of mutated beasts created by the Zora during his time with Ganon. The monsters have proven to be powerful foes to those who would dare oppose the Tribe; the only negative is that only a select few people, primarily Zaboorak himself and Xamnial the Beastmaster, have the ability to control these beasts.
