The age referenced to in The Legend of Zelda for the NES, and thus is the name of the age which Hyrule Adventure 2 takes place. It is when Ganon does much more to harm Hyrule in its new land claimed in the North. The last known Link in the common Zelda timelines defeated Ganon and saved the Princess Zelda, in spite of living in a distant land to the west. But even when Ganon is dead, the Age is perhaps far from over...
