Jocken DeLuc

Jocken DeLuc is the father of Trillian DeLuc and husband of Nicole DeLuc. He is also a recruiter for the Warrior's Guild. He is known by many as "Dragon Slayer" Jocken due to his exceptional skill against dragons.He wields a sword made of the fang of a dragon, which is the same height as him.

[edit] Childhood
Jocken grew up in the city of Haven in a middle-class family. He was a tall, muscular child; causing many children to be afraid of him. Because of this, he didn't have much friends growing up. He did whatever he could to gain acceptance from the other children, even picking on a young Devon Pasaer. He was also never too fond of Elves.
[edit] The Legendary Five
During The Legendary Five he had a fairly simple role. While the group visited a small town not far from Haven to take a job exterminating a dragon, Jocken showed up before hand boasting that he could take down the dragon single-handed. Which got on the nerves of them all, except Nicole who was quite smitten with him. He put up a good fight with the dragon, but was badly hurt by it. With the help of the other five they defeated it. Jocken considered joining with the five, much to the dismay of Devon, but turned down the offer when they received the reward money. Resulting in only 10g for Jocken.
[edit] The Champion's Tournament
During the third annual Champion's Tournament Jocken took the victory after winning some of the most memorable matches of all time. He took out Hunter McGavin in the quarter-finals and outsmarted Deserto Sabbia in the semi-finals. Some say that the final match, Jocken vs. Luthor Medaesal, is the greatest fight of all time.
The final match lasted well over two hours, with each combatant giving their all. It came down to one final strike, each running from the opposite side of the ring. Jocken was controversially decided as the victor because he was able to get to his feet a split second before Luthor.

Jocken was on of the first NPCs to be introduced. He has tested nearly every applicant to the Warrior's Guild. He is extremely friendly to anyone, except for when they mess with his family. He is known to be a bit over-protective of his daughter, despite how much it annoys her.

- Jocken is one of the only HoL character not based on an anime or video game character.
- He was originally meant to be similar to Hagrid from the Harry Potter series.
