Nagean and Arceid

Nagean and Arceid were both of the Ancient Gramm Empire, which had conquered most of the known continent. They were born in a small nameless village. They were known to be inseparable best friends. When they were of age, both joined the army together. It is not known how, but during this time, they acquired the Bright Shield and Black Sword Rune.

Arceid went on the become the Emperor of the Gramm Empire; while Negean became the founder of the Keyroleth Empire, leading open rebellion against the Gramm Empire. After a series of long and epic battles, the two finally faced off against each other. They fought to the point of exhaustion, and in the end they plunged their swords into each other simultaneously. Though the fight was a draw, it was known as the end of the Gramm Empire. The Keyroleth Empire continues to this day however, though it no longer enjoys the prosperity it once did.
