From the game Advance Guardian Heroes for the Game Boy Advance

Flying is useful to get out of dangerous situations and during those annoying jumping stages. Jump, then press Up + B to do an Uppercut. After pressing that, tap B with all your might and after the uppercut finishes executing, you'll do a side kick in mid-air. Right after that do another uppercut, and you'll fly higher than you did on your first uppercut. Repeat, and soon you'll fly off the top of the screen.
