Floating death

From the game Sonic the Hedgehog 2 for the Sega Genesis.

Go to the Metropolis Zone. In the areas with pistons on the floor and ceiling, either jump, where the ceiling pistons come down, or run on the ceiling and get crushed by the ceiling pistons. Your character will die upside down, and fly down then up, instead of falling through the level.
