Build a room so that it has only one door. Then, somehow make it so that there is a fire in that room and there are flames right in front of that door. You can do this by lighting a fireplace near flammable furniture. Call the fireman. He will go to the door but not enter the room - the door blocks him from dousing the flames with water. So, he will become confused and go away from the room and shoot water into midair. He'll continue this until the fire in front of the door goes out.
