Iza Iyanna is a Dragon-Blooded Doctor living in Meru now under the reign of the Night Sky Regime, the Wood Aspect is a popular local figure as even in the current times of hardship she continues to provide healthcare to the local community.

Most who ask Iyanna her opinions of the current situation are given a warm smile as she explains, “I care little for who rules Creation, I just want to help people.” and few would suspect that the good doctor is indeed a member of the Rebellion. Iyanna’s motives are unclear even to her Rebellion contacts; some suspect she is a double agent with the Meru Hunt, but there is a much more simple explanation. Iyanna’s teenaged son, Abiel, is not actually her offspring, but is, in fact, Salina’s son and, as much as it hurts her to keep him in the dark about his true parents, she knows that the truth may put him at risk. However, by passing the child off as her own, Iyanna has unknowingly put them both at risk. A small and dwindling group of militantly pure Dragon-Blooded known as the Flawless Circle have been watching Iyanna for some time and if they suspect she has bore a mortal child (and further diminished the Dragon-Blooded host), they may take whatever action they can in order to punish her. There are also enemies closer to home; Iyanna’s older sister, Iza Priya, has joined the Meru Hunt after witnessing the aftermath of an attack by the Godkings. If she realised Iyanna’s involvement with the rebellion, or that her nephew were a Golden Child, then even the bond she and her sister share may not be enough to save Iyanna. Life has gotten very interesting for a Dragon-Blooded who was once content to allow others to determine her path.

Manse: Sextus Jylis’ Warm Embrace Iyanna’s home and place of work, originally it was commissioned by the charitable organisation the Children of Sextus Jylis. The group fell out of favour with the Deliberative for condemning Operation Wyldhand and some point after that, the manse fell into disrepair until it came into the possession of Gens Iza. Appearance: A white dome like structure with an adjoining garden Drawbacks: Fragility 2, Maintenance 1, the Warm Embrace was not designed with attackers in mind and its essence flows are easily disrupted simply messing up the garden. Advantages: Comfort Zone, Life Sustaining (Healing), Dragon’s Nest (Wood), Magic Conveniences, Well Flavoured Aspect Hearthstones: Iyanna possesses a Gemstone of Mental Health that belongs to her own manse, Sextus Jylis’ Warm Embrace. In addition she holds two other Hearthstones that she uses in conjunction with her work a Scintillating Gem of Ally’s Embrace and a Gem of Injury Sense (Oadenol’s Codex page 98-100) Equipment: Torc of Unified Action Iyanna’s surgery has access to various medical tools such as exceptional medical tools, seven bounties paste (Exalted core book page 378), blood berries (Oadenol’s Codex page 155), mother’s moss (Oadenol’s Codex page 157), various Charms against Disease (Exalted core book page 379). Iyanna herself keeps a breastplate and an exceptional longbow, and fears she may need them soon. Important People: Abiel: the light of Iyanna’s world, at 15 years old he’s becoming very much an idealist and is starting to find his Mother a little overprotective, especially at the notion of him attending one of the more prestigious boarding schools. (Abiel lives in Iyanna’s house and eats all her food, she loves him but he’s not really worth ally dots just yet) Priya: Iyanna’s older sister has been a member of the Meru Hunt for the last five years, she and Iyanna remain on good terms but that may quickly change if she knew the truth about her nephew (Priya is Iyanna’s Family 1, her sister’s flawless service record with the Meru Hunt often works in her favour) Kirigasu Hina: Iyanna’s fellow doctor, business partner, close friend and occasional lover she’s much more concerned with her own physical and financial well being than Iyanna is. Abiel has nicknamed the other Wood Aspect “the bean counter” because of this. (Nevertheless Hina has a better grasp of how to run a business than Iyanna does and Iyanna owes much of her Resources 4, Reputation 1 to her- Hina is also a 2 dot Ally in her own right)
