Akiyara is a stunningly lovely woman, a delicate wisp of an Air Aspect, slender and fragile with long, shining straight blonde hair softly wind-whipped, stray tendrils curling idly about high-set cheekbones and wide blue-grey eyes that quite literally shift with moods and expenditure of Essence. Her skin is a pearlescent blue-white, always cool to the touch. She speaks in a soft voice that carries its own weight, and almost seems to drift from place to place rather than walk. Like her Mother, her compassion and gentle nature are both boundless. She usually garbs herself in light blues and flowing whites, robes and sashes fluttering with her perpetual anima.

Akiyara, or the Whisper of Gaia's Bounty as she sometimes calls herself, was once a Dynast, narrowsighted and complacent in her superiority and as sadly misguided as the rest of the Host. A scholar and savant of the Rings of Ledaal Catala, Akiyara had a fervent interest in the mysteries of the First Age.

During a study of some books she'd found at an excavated Dragon King manse in the far East Akiyara stumbled upon a name she had never seen before: Gaia, an obscure reference in a scroll from what was thought to be a temple. It was only an inkling, a tantalizing flash of enlightenment, but she latched onto it when she read Gaia's purpose: Mother of Creation. Surely this was a reference to the Dragons themselves, she thought?

Further perusal of both these books and the Immaculate Texts led her to believe that Gaia was in fact an avatar of the Immaculate Dragon Mela. To that end she began to use the names interchangeably in her prayers, still seeking more information, more references. It was a restless hunger that no amount of knowledge could satisfy...

...and then, one winter in the dead of night, she no longer had to seek that for which she hungered. Gaia found her.

Gentle and compassionate, endlessly patient, Akiyara is full of the light and love of her Mother and wishes only to share it with as many people as possible. Especially her Dragon-Blooded brethren, for were they not Gaia's original Souls?

Gaia's enlightenment has also bestowed a certain gift of prophecy upon the Whisper of Her Bounty. Though not a clear and logical insight into the workings of fate as Creation knows it (as she is not a Sidereal and does not have that ability), she can predict some events with a certain amount of accuracy.

Her Virtue Flaw manifests itself as an inability to deal with the suffering of her Mother's children, and so Akiyara in Limit Break is overcome with their pain, unable to act for her heartbroken sobbing at the suffering around her.
