I am just saying that so far I have done half of my host filming. I am having trouble finding interviwee's due to councils policy regarding talking with the media. I will probably have to change my script so I can use different interviwee's. Interviewee's may include a bird watcher or a greeny. SHAUN

Again I am in the middle of altering my script I may only be able to have one interveiwee but I still need to confirm. SHAUN

I'm going alrite on my assignment I've got some footage but I need to make a camera booking so i can do my interviews. TIM

I'm still arranging an interview time for my assignment. It will have to be on a week night as all the cameras are booked for the weekend. TIM

I've put my footage in Final Cut now and have started editing it. TIM

I have finished my script and and have decided to go with a single interview. I still haven't even asked the person but he should be able to do it. His son is friends with my brother. SHAUN

I have made a camera booking for the weekend. So I'll have my interview footage for next week. I hope to get all of my footage this weekend. TIM

More problems, I think I'm down to plan K for my interviewee's. He is able to but he dosen't know any thing about the esplanade my next option is to interview the owner at Skippers cafe. If i cant do this I will have to use a person who regurarly uses the esplanade. SHAUN

I did my Interview on the weekend and have imported the footage to the computer. I am considering coming in on the weekend but I have not booked my computer yet. All in all I"m going good TIM

I have decided to make a computer booking for this saturday, i hope to get most of editing done i have also made a camera booking for thursday so ill have more footage to edit TIM

I'm taking the camera to day and i hope to get lots of footage of the dogs. This should be the last time i need a camera TIM

I have finished filming and have imported it all. i just have to edit it all now SHAUN

I got some footage yesterday and i hope to get most of it, if not all of it edited tomorrow TIM

Program: Better Homes and Gardens

I think that my segment could have been a success on the program in some ways but could have not been in other ways. For example it is not good enough to go on the program at all so it wouldn't have been a success. But it does cover pet care which would make it a success. The segment was trying to make a point about pet care and that dogs are a pet for life. The segment could have been improved with a better interview destination and maybe another interview. The segmetn ending was not successful at all. because it was too brief. There wasn't any music in my piece The main problem with filming this segment was time. If i had the time and rsources i would have found a better interview pace, i would have included anothr interview and i would have made it longer. I think some people who like dogs would enjoy the segment, but some people would find the segment to boring and slow.

I aimed to make this program for the great north east (addapted from the great south east). i think i was succesful in doing this. My documentry folowed the genra of the show and used similar hosts and interveiwee's. My documentry also had the same sort of story and layout. I chose to use a casual tone although i had a more seriouse tone whilst the host was talking about the dredging.

was trying to show how the mistakes of past generations cant be fixed and that if we didn't dredge we wouldn't have a seeport or a lagoon. to improve my segment i would have had to try and get my interveiwee's at a time where they were not so busy and that it would have been quieter background noise. My segment concluded with teh host saying come down and have a look. this is similar to what the hosts on the great south east do . so it would have been succesful in the target audiences eyes. my music was also tranqil and casual so it complimented teh visual features. i encountyered a few problems whilst filming. these included some tallent errors but it was able to be worked around. wind, light and background noise were also major problems however i managed to re-shoot problem scenes if i had the time and resorces i would use diferent interveiwee's. and also take more cut aways amd possible use a simmilar host who still fits into the gen
