Second Trilogy Novel 3

From Fantasy Novel

  • One of the novels, the main character must be completely missing/gone. "Something is wrong with him..." people will say... he can not be found, and when he is he seems to be doing things extremely out of character for him. Possibly evil, possibly not. Regardless, they appear bad (this comes from a post by Beall on 9ersnews that said "Iron man has done some really fucked up shit in the comics lately, he is indirectly if not directly responsible for the death of Cpt America") and the book will center around the other characters quest to figure out what the hell is up with him. TWO POSSIBLY CAUSES - one, he is possessed or taken over by something (which I like - Rand al'Thor kind of split personality thing - taken over kind of thing), or TWO he is doing things, not telling anyone about them, because they are putting peices in place to do something truly great...those things appear bad (killing a good person maybe, or destroying something) but actually serve necessary things for the greater good.
  • One of the third trilogy novels will be a mirror story for "Tapestry" from Star Trek, TNG.
  • Some kind of self-realization soul searching. Set in the dream world, or some other metaphysical reality, where hero is tested, guided, and continually fails or something to that effect... keeps asking, "what do you want out of me!!!!" because his head is too clouded with "what do I do to move on?", concerned with doing task A B or C to move on... but in reality what they truly want is an epiphany of self-realization of the hero.. they want him to stop doing what people want and expect out of him, and instead to simply rely on himself and what he knows he must do. Some kind of lecture, "...always 'what do you want out of me' - never do you let your mind quiet enough to find the truth. That what others want out of you is not important" and so on and so forth. Can be a rather long grand experience - but try to make it more subtle than the lecture I just laid out - more intuitive and such, less overt.
  • Perhaps transform into animals - Link as a "Blue eyed beast" - maybe even have this part of the "Fisc is missing" novel, where an animal shows up and is with teh other main characters, and turns out to be Fisc. Maybe not even an animal. Hmmm...
