[edit] HARRY & HERMIONE FOREVER!
This site will outline all the reasons that the Harry Potter books should clearly focus on a romantic relationship between Harry Potter and Hermione Granger, not the favored Hermione Granger and Ron Weasley. Obviously, Harry and Hermione are the better pair. Ron and Hermione disgusts me, an outrageous Harry Potter fan. Ron would be much better off with Luna Lovegood, while Ginny, who Harry, of course, DUMPED, would be the perfect match for Draco Malfoy. First, let me outline the reasons for the minor two couples of Luna and Ron and Ginny and Draco.

You might ask, why Luna and Ron? Why not Ron and Hermione, the ship that JKRowling is obviously headed for? Well, firstly, a surprise is always a good thing. Luna is a perfect example of that, always surprising Ron, who needs it. Also they are both out there, Ron occasionally being right, when really it was all by mistake, and Luna of course, believing in all sorts of wild creatures. Luna would be always supportive of Ron, when he gets things wrong, while Ron would keep Luna down to earth, from drifting off into space.

This is my second favorite ship, and is just crazy enough to be perfect. You have the two families, the Malfoys and the Weasleys, on very opposite sides of the spectrum, both purebloods, as in Romeo and Juliet. They are two families, alike in stature. If they succeed without dying, this could link them and maybe make Draco good, as we saw was already happening in book 6, being unable to kill Dumbledore. As has always been said, they must unite to conquer the Dark Lord, and what better way than this relationship??!

Before I tell you why it should clearly be Harry and Hermione, I will first tell you, why NOT Ron and Hermione. First of all, DUH the hero gets the girl. Harry, what would he be without Hermione?? Ron can clearly run off with someone else. Also, Ron and Hermione are constantly bickering. Their relationship would be like that also, constant fights. Ron doesn't try at all in school, something Hermione is most fond of. Besides, ew ew ew. Just the thought of them together makes me shudder.

So now I am ready to support my favorite ship. You may say that some of the things I say are biased, and they probably are. I can't help it. Just take what you want, and the things you think are true. Well. You heard my point of "hero gets the girl". Harry and Hermione are BEST FRIENDS. You might say, so are Ron and Hermione.But...Hermione has always been someone special for Harry to confide in, the only girl that knows him through and through. It would be hard for him to value another girl in his life as much as he values Hermione. Also, you can tell that Harry tries for Hermione. He tried in school, and also he took up the duty of the DA. Hermione helps Harry as much as possible, and will always be there for him, even in the final battle. Let's take a look back at the books and see what each has to offer, along with the movies, that support my point. So first, the Sorcerer's Stone, book and movie. In the book, Hermione is already entranced by Harry when she first meets him, excited and knowing everything about him. She fixes his glasses in the movie. Also, Hermione cheers him on at all his Quidditch games, also throughout the books. She sets a spell on Snape when she thinks he is jinxing Harry's broom. Also, Harry is the one that suggests to Ron that they find Hermione when she is crying in the girls' bathroom, Ron being the one that hurt her in the first place. Finally, when they actually quest to find the stone, hermione remains with Harry longer than Ron. She goes with him to almost the very end. She knows how to deal with Devils' Snare. When Ron falls at the chess set, though he did help immensely in getting past that, Hermione saves Harry from being stuck in the logic room forever, or drinking the wrong potion and not knowing what will happen. When he goes through, she sends him off, crying, praising, worrying. She already knows Harry is a great wizard and a great friend, he knowing that her smarts will be enough for the whole trio. On to book, and movie, number 2. The Chamber of Secrets. Who helps harry find the chamber and the monster inside? Hermione of course! Even in her petrified state, she manages to help out Harry. She also is the one to accompany Harry to send Norbert away. They both get detention of course, and even her, Harry is very
