Patricia Anne (Tricia) Murray, the first child of Mary and John Murray, was born on January 29, 1965, at St. Peter's Medical Center in New Brunswick, NJ. She grew up in Highland Park, NJ, Jersey City, NJ and Sayreville, NJ. She attended the local public schools in Sayreville (in high school she played on the varsity tennis team) and then out to the mid-west to attend Ohio State University, in Columbus, Ohio, where she obtained a BA degree in Criminal Justice. Tricia returned to NJ and was employed as a probation officer in Middlesex County.
After deciding this was not an exciting career she went on to Kean College where she obtained a Masters degree in Education and began teaching school in Edison, NJ., and then on to her junior high school in Sayreville, NJ, where she taught English and Reading. Tricia eventually moved on again to the state of Michigan and is presently teaching 3rd graders in the Detroit public school system. She now resides in Dearborn Heights, MI with her best friend, Heidi (her golden retriever). She enjoys many sports and is an avid Ohio State Buckeye fan. She also likes the NY Rangers hockey team as well as the NY Jets football team.
