The Republic of Emmeria is the central nation on the Anean Continent. The other two nations flank both sides of Emmeria. The country seems to have coastal, rolling plains near the Fuseum Sea and the North Sea. As we travel inland, the geography changes to a more mountainous landscape. In this region there are many small to large river valleys. Some of these valleys also point to some glaciations that happened in the Anean geological past. Another geological formation is Khesed Island. It is one of the largest islands within Emmerian Territory. The island might have been created by a series of volcanic eruptions. Nothing else is known about the island. Emmeria Military might have several Air Force and Naval bases located here, but the Emmeria's government is not commenting on the subject.
[edit] Ulysses Catastrophe – (1999 to 2010)
As the world waited for the Ulysses planet fall the Republic of Emmeria started preparations for it government, military and its citizens to withstand such a historic and catastrophic event. It is likely, but not confirmed, that Emmeria contributed to the FCU’s Defensive Super-weapon, Stonehenge. On July 8th, Ulysses breached the Roche limit. As the asteroid seared through the upper atmosphere, Ulysses broke into hundreds of smaller fragments. The Usean Continent received most of the impacts from the Ulysses Asteroid. The Stonehenge Defensive technicians tried their best to eliminate most of the larger fragments as they made palnet fall, but their effort was in vain. Some fragments by-passed the Usean Continent and impacted on the western part of Emmeria. As the “Rain of Terror” continued on the Anean Continent, Emmeria’s trade routes and economy collapsed during this event. It is not confirmed or denied if the Emmerian Government declared Marshal Law before and/or after the planet fall. This event also set a wave of long-term events that would lead to the coulds of war over the country of Emmeria’s future.
As the years past, Ulysses 1994XF04 went down into history. Emmeria rebuilt is ports and cities of the western part of the nation. The Emmerians slowly regained the economical losses that they have lost before the planet fall. Soon the Republic of Emmeria reached a level of prosperity before the planet fall. But some of the other countries were not so fortunate to recover from the tragic event. In 2010, the Anean Continent witnessed the distruction of the second and last Scinfaxi-class submarines, the "Hrimfaxi". After the sinking of these great naval super-weapons the Yuktobanian troops started to call the Razgriz Squadron, "The Demons of Razgriz".
[edit] Anean Continental War (2015)
In 1999 the country of Estovakia fell into economical ruin and eventually civil war. In the present, a military government was formed and declared war upon the Republic of Emmeria. The reasons of Estovakia declaring war upon Emmeria is still unknown. Estovakia decides to invade Emmerian territory, possibly to re-strangthen their economy. Soon the Emmerian capital, Gracemeria, is attacked by Estovakian military forces. The government issused a general evacuation order to evacuate all citizens out of the capital. To add to the panic, the surprise attack by Estovakian forces, bombed Kings Bridge, destroying one of the main bridges leading out of the capital city. Then Air Base Command ordered a general retreat to meet up local air force untils trhoughout the Republic of Emmeria and reclaim their lost capital city, Gracemeria.
