This area is seen in Ace Combat 2, Ace Combat 03: Electrosphere and Ace Combat 04: Shattered Skies. Chopinburg Forest is located in the Central Portion of the Usean Continent. The city of Los Canas is at the center of the forest region. The Southern part of the region is all farmland. This region has been a site of combat in all wars which took place on the Usean Continent.

[edit] Usean Rebellion (Op. Cuckoo's Nest)
During the Usean Rebellion, Scarface 1 was sent on a solo mission to disrupt resupply missions near the city of Los Canas, in order to lessen resistance from Usean Rebel forces in the area. Scarface One dashed into the area and devastated the supply operation by destroying the supply crates as they were air dropped, with the aircaft's Vulcan Cannon, not to mention destroying the transports and escort aircraft in the area.

During the Usean Rebellion, Scarface 1 was sent to the northern Chopinburg region to destroy high speed, high altitude bombers attempting to head to bomb the recently captured city of Los Canas. The air group could not be identified through means of radar. As Scarface One rose to engage the air group, confirmed to be made up of three SR-71 Blackbirds and two XB-70A Valkyries. Although it was difficult to get to the target altitude, Scarface was able to the destroy all the Valkyries, Blackbirds & the escorting aircraft.
[edit] Usean Continental War(Op. Noah's Ark)
In the midst of the Usean Continental War, the ISAF recaptured their Main GHQ as well as the city of Los Canas on March 7, 2005. One week later at 3:31 PM, Mobius 1 went on a solo mission in the northern region of Chopinburg to protect two airliners from Air Ixiom. These airliners carried the engineers that had created Stonehenge almost 10 years ago. They were under attack by Erusian fighters with orders to destroy both airliners, despite civilian occupants. Air Ixiom flight 701 was damaged on takeoff and could not climb to safer altitudes, while Air Ixiom Flight 702 maintained flight at higher altitudes. Mobius 1, having to engage fighters at both altitudes, single-handedly dispatched all of the fighters pursuing the two airliners. With the engineers and their famlies defected to the ISAF, the road to defeating Stonehenge became clear.
[edit] Corporate War of 2045 (Joint Maneuvers) [NA/JP]
In 2045, during the Corportate War between Neucom Inc. and General Resource LTD, Chopinburg was used as an area to conduct joint exercise between the Universal Peace Enforcement Organization (UPEO) and the General Resource Defense Force (GRDF). Nemo, the UPEO's top ace participated with the top aces of the GRDF, Abyssal Dision and Kieth Bryan. During the exercises, Neucom Inc. dropped chemical containers within the area. With the combined efforts of the UPEO and GRDF. The chemicals, the transport and all escort fighters were destroyed by the UPEO-GRDF force.
[edit] Corporate War of 2045 (Bug Hunt) [JP]
The UPEO and Neucom Inc. joined forces to stop Ouroboros, an organization which was responsible for engineering the war from the shadows, from destroying the corporations. A squadron consisting of UPEO Ace pilots Nemo, Erich Jaeger and Rena Hirose were equipped with anti-nanobyte bombs (ANBs) to destroy a nanobyte virus, developing in Chopinburg. Neucom Inc. Neucom's nanotechnology research facility in the region had positioned a large quantity of experimental nanobytes for building/construction purposes. The nanobytes went wild for an unknown reason and began to spread through the area, breaking down organic substances in order to make materials needed to produce more nanobytes. The UPEO pilots neutralized the Nanobytes, but, Rena Hirose's aircraft had drifted into the range of a Nanobyte-Ellipsoid and was attacked by the Nanobytes. Nemo managed fire an ANB at her aircraft and save her life.
