Bastok Penninsula

This location is first seen in Ace Combat 05: The Unsung War. Located on the South Eastern Coast of Yuktobania, the Bastok Penninsula is made up of multiple beaches which quickly lead into forested rolling hills. These hills vary in size, but are usually rather large.

The Bastok Penninsula was the site of Osea's Amphibious Landing known as operation Foot Print. This Osean operation would be the first offensive moved made against Yuktobania during the Circum-Pacific War. The goal of the Operation was to land four companies on the beaches and progress inland, knocking out bunkers with the help of Air Strikes. The main objective was the capture of an inland Fortress which was to be surrounded and taken by the combined Osean Amphibious Force.
The 108th 'Wardog' Squadron of the Osean Air Defense Force was assigned to provide support for the landing. The 108th destroyed Yuktobanian bunkers a number of times as the Osean Ground Forces made their way through the many hills on the penninsula. Eventually, the Osean Troops managed to take up positions outside of the perimeter of the Yuktobanian Fortress. Once all four companies were prepared, the 108th TFS destroyed the base's outer defenses and continued to attack the main base. Around this time Unit D of the Osean Ground Forces unexpectedly pushed ahead and drove the attack, much to the suprise of the other Osean companies. With the combine efforts of the Wardog and Company A, B, C and D of the Osean Ground Forces, the Yuktobania Fortress was taken. This fortress became a frontline base and played a vital role in Osean operations in Yuktobania.
