Ascent of Awakened X4 Access

This is probably one of the worst quests ever created.
The quest was introduced to the game when the zone was changed from contested raid zone to instanced. The quest starts just outside the Ascent of the Awakened on Discord Isle in Barren Sky and requires you to collect 4 items, one from each of the 4 named in the x2 instance of Ascent of the Awakened. That in it self wouldn't be so bad if the items were auto updates, but they are not. They are drops. The named only drop one of them at a time. So if all 12 people in the raid want to complete the quest, they will have to kill all 4 named 12 times. (There are no repops, so 12 seperate trips).
Also worth to note, once you pick up the quest it will immediately have the (Completed) tag on it, even though you have not actually gathered the 4 items yet. If you go back to the NPC without the items he will also have the completed book icon over his head, but he will not complete the quest
