Lady or Mary Arkham is one of many characters coming from Devil May Cry, made famous by Capcom. She's set pre-game, very idealistic, a prude, and a shrewed girl that's sworn to destroy all demons and the death of her mother. Lady can be reached at Song for Grace (we be rolling with the Mary references~), but do give the mun a heads up, because the SN is shared with another Lady in another RP.

Generally regarded as a 'bitch' or difficult to get along with, Lady isn't one who makes the best first impressions on others. That is, of course, depending on how others first interact with Lady. Temperamental and quiet, Lady is very weary of others, and is one who rarely puts her trust in anyone. Relying on first judgement, maybe even a little paranoid of other's motives at times. Very judgmental – Lady will underestimate a lot of people, due to her distant nature and fear of being hurt once again. Anything else, such as social interactions or even having relations to other people, Lady firmly believes it's a distraction to her work and her duty – whatever it is, Lady never says. There's a deep anger that stems from Lady's grief and pain, something that undoubtedly clouds her best judgment.
Despite having a temper and being heavily guarded to herself, Lady does have a crucial sympathetic side, leaning out of her belief of loyalty. The two sides to Lady's personality is a way to protect herself from others. Lady does not trust anyone, unless they share common ground with her. Lady is far from perfect, even carrying an ego sometimes, as a way to keep herself on equal ground or elevate herself when needed. Whenever prodded or coaxed out of this wall she's put up, Lady can show she has more layers to her, besides her anger. Possessive and protective of virtually anything Lady holds dear to her – unfortunately, that would be the last bit of security she has, her comfort zone.
If there's one thing Lady rarely shows, it just might be her "Mary" side, her former self that Lady works against, believing this side to be weaker. Showing too much of a soft side, in Lady's opinion, will leave others to walk all over her. However, while Lady is cautious, often weary of others, she can be very naive, innocent in some of her hidden nature, which can always lead to deception for her, no matter how much she fears others praying upon her. It's her idealistic nature and conflicting odds that welcome her to struggles. While it may be so, she's nothing more than a girl who wants to honor her mother's memory. Lady is loyal...to a handful of people and those are who Lady will guard considerably and relentlessly like a bulldog.
Lady's strongest trait is her drive, her will to keep going. Little or nothing will stop Lady from accomplishing her "goal". She's a confident, resileint young woman, who no matter what, will always see to it she overcomes everything. This also extends down to the fact Lady is vehement in protecting humanity from the demonic kind, all the way down to Lady refusing to back down in an argument.

If there is one thing Lady appreciates, it's durability in clothing -- style is something beneith her and something she doesn't concern herself with, and might as well be considered a tomboy for the clothing she wears. If it's something, Lady will not be caught dead in a skirt or a dress -- unless it's something really special. Her favorite article of clothing are her copper-colored boots (they look like Doc Martins) that lace up to her knees. And you can tell she loves them, due to the worn out look of them. Although the leather is scratched up and scraped, she refuses to give them up. She's got a slender figure, obviously fit and attractive, but Lady again doesn't care about this factor, since it's her outward personality that scares men away from her. There are a numerous amount of scars all over her body, faded or not, showing just how stubborn the girl can be and how many fights she charged into, without caring for her well-being.
Depending on what resolution, whether it be high or low, she always has full heterochromia, causing her eyes to be two seperate colors. Since the mun relies on the high resolution and not the gameplay, her left eye is red, and her right eye is a blue-ish green. Lady on the other hand has grown up to despise her eye color, being teased or bullied for it through the years and a little bit of the fact she shares the same set of eyes of her father. And also because the mun relies on her high-res image, Lady's black hair is short, about to her jawline, layered, and styled out, as in flared. Consider this the only thing that Lady actually cares about in regards to her appearance. We'll also skip over the high-res giving her lip gloss. Yeah.

There isn't much known about Lady and she likes to keep it that way. What she doesn't talk about is once living with her parents, Kalina Ann and Arkham, who were the closest people in her life. Her father was, after all, a gifted professor with a loving and coddling wife. Lady once was 'daddy's little girl', as well her mother's daughter, believing there could be no wrong committed by her parents. Her parents were perfection in her eyes. This made it all the more painful when Arkham turned, maybe even snapped one evening, and killed his wife right in front his daughter's eyes. Lady was still fairly young when this happened, never fully understanding it and much of it is still a traumatizing blur to her.
The details of her mother's purpose for dying are still unknown even Lady herself; as a result, she's always been determined to figure out why and act revenge on the death of her mother. How Lady managed to escape that mess is unknown, and is more than likely a repressed memory on her part. Lady hardly speaks of her past beyond her mother's death, suggesting she might have been an orphan on her own for quite a while. All other known ties to her past, Lady has sought hard to erase, down to her birth name. Literally coming out of nowhere, Lady is seeking someways to regain stability by enrolling in herself in Desai University. Though she is very vehement on tracking down her mother's killer, Lady is still running from him, still in grief by his betrayal. All Lady wants now is to succeed in her goals, obtain the best of knowledge to aid her. Anything else is just a road block to Lady.You can argue her persent goal with Arkham has changed, as she is slowly starting to re-evaluate her long and deep beliefs on her father.

Siela Riviere - Whereas Lady considers a few as friends in far and between, Siela seems like the closest thing for Lady to consider "possible friendship". Possible. However, despite Lady's cautious nature, she seems to be comfortable interacting with Siela, whose optimism is much needed with Lady. If there is one thing Lady doesn't like, is the questions. So far, Lady seems to be overlooking and her protective and secret matronal nature might manifest.
Cloud Strife - He's probably one of the few males Lady seems to tolerate, which says a lot. She honestly thinks he needs to get out more? So far, so good.
Rufus Shinra - Further proof Lady magnates towards cold-hearted, patricidal bastards Erm, well, what else is there to say that Lady does appreciate his "business matter" of the sort. Talks to him when she does get the chance and finds him tolerable.
Kurosaki Ichigo - He seems well likable for Lady, too, but not enough for regular conversation yet. The chatroom will change this, no doubt. Proving Lady's naivity, she honestly believes his words about his father being on medication and having a mental illness.
Kurosaki Isshin - Lady generally refers him as 'Mr. Kurosaki'. Despite believing Ichigo's words about his..."special nature", Lady thinks very highly of Isshin, solely for the fact he's constantly talking about his children. And despite the unusual interaction between Isshin and his son, Lady likes to believe he's a good father. What can I say that is apart of her idealism of 'family'? And because of the fact he's very vocal about his daughters and occassionally Ichigo, Lady oddly...likes him. Even if she has never met him in person.
Trish - Like Siela, Trish is in the same catagory as "future friend". She has had one encounter with Trish, when they were unfortunate to meet Jester. Lady is greatly comforted in the fact Trish seems to share the same business, even if Lady is a novice herself. Also wants to help Trish catch her towl thieves.
Arkham - Lady's father. Despite the fact Lady refuses to use her birthname, she allows her father to use it, since he was the one who named her. There COULD be a long, LOOOONG paragraph explaining the horrible father issues with this girl, but to sum it up, Lady is weary of him, yet seeks her father at once. It's a dualing mess with Lady, in regards to him. Though Lady likes to think she's taking extreme caution, it may not be the case, because once again, Lady's naive nature is willing to trust her father, more than anyone, even if he's the root of her mistrust and problems.
Dante - CANDLEJACK Due to her father's warnings about Sparda, Lady is VERY cautious about both Sparda twins. And there is a lot of 4chan jokes and 'ROX ASS' comments between the two. Nothing but snark for now.
Vergil - Same as above with the whole Sparda bit, minus 4chan. Actually, she might as well hate him, she's pretty sure, due to the things he says.
Hikaru Hitachiin and Kaoru Hitachiin - They invaded her personal space, therefore they must go off and die for all she cares. :/
Sieg Warheit - Extremely critical and bitchy to him, solely on the account of his possessed friend. What Lady isn't willing to admit is to express the feeling of compassion to this guy, as it seems he's struggling with this problem that makes Lady solely come down on him.
