Dreams of the White Court is a book of faery tales dredged from the utter depths of the human psyche. Demonic in nature, the book has the unique ability to manifest the demons and phantoms upon its pages, tormenting the local mortals and feeding upon the pain and ill feelings generated, drawing the nightmares created into itself and increasing its own power.

Sent to the manor as an opening shot in a protracted battled against Robert, the book was bound and locked away in his vault. Escaping the mundane prison, the book retreated and hid in a used book store, tainting those that came by with nightmares in an effort to regain its strength. Found by Rob again, the book battled both him and Jarrod, finally being locked down by enspelled chains and branded with warnings into its leather binding. Once more locked in the vault, it was sequestered onto a corner of a shelf by itself, away from any of the other stuff where it's been trapped ever since.
