Dragon of Wind and Fire

From Demiurge Games

The Dragon of Wind and Fire is a carving of a large chunk of jade shaped by a master artisan during the old empires of China. Commissioned by the emperor, the artist began to craft it into a Dragon of Wind and Fire as he was directed. When presented and unveiled to the emperor, the artist was immediately shacked and brought before the emperor to explain himself. The jade had been carved into the shape of three carp playing in the water, rather than the requested dragon. When questioned, the artist could only state that he could only carve what was there, and that was what was there. The emperor took this into consideration, and contemplated the piece, the artist was correct, it was exactly as it should be. Thus the artist was rewarded for his work, and the Dragon of Wind and Fire became a fixture in the court. The jade has the natural property of amplifying the ambient chi of an area, and Robert was sent by his mentor, Master Tzun, to find it to prevent it from falling into the hands of darker forces. Settling into the basement, it has become one of the objects of power that provide the manor with it's high arcane rating.
