You give them as freindly a smile as you can without making it obvious you're lying.
"So what are your guys names?" You say, really barely interested.
The driver, clearly relieved that you are polite enough to get introduced to everyone cheerily fills you in. "Well I'm David, and this is my best friend Joshua." Joshua smiles shyly, and gives you a little wave. Both are blonde, blue eyed hunks that look like they belong at a Nazi rally not a church, but they have a certain clean cut look that makes you ooze.
"I'm Sandy and this is my sister Sue-Beth..." says the all too eager looking girl sitting to your right. They are also blonde and blue eyed, and apparently twins. You are more than a little creeped out by the Aryan sensation but you automatically see great potential with the twins...and good Christian girls to boot!
"So this like a double date to the beach or something?" You say, already guessing the answer. David reacts quickly, embarrassed by the connection you've made.
"Oh no, we're just friends in Christ. We've all taken the pledge to abstain from relationships of that manner under the eyes of the Lord." Simultaneously they all raise their hands, revealing purity rings glinting in the afternoon light. "But we're still really great pals, just looking forward to some fun in the sun in Gods great ocean, right gang?"
"RIGHT!" They all chant at the same time.
You feel your skin crawl.
"So...um...what was that with your mom back there?" Asks Sue-Beth cautiously.
Damn, you hoped they'd decided to forget that.
