It takes a great deal of squelching, but eventually you get yourself out, and Daphne, looking a little disappointed, follows you. Further round the lake there is a more solid shore, and you both wash yourselves clean there. You sit and chat for a while, then rejoin the rest of your group in time for lunch. The rest of the day passes uneventfully, and towards the end of the afternoon you all board the bus and head back to the school. The day is over, as is the adventure.
