Wait until the blankets are down and sneak into hers

You've taken time to lay out several blankets, and Cassandra has done the same. She builds a small sleeping area next to the cot, and has you build yours on the other side of the room. You both check on Melanie one last time, and Cassandra warns you that she may not make it through the night. All that could have been done for her has been done, and the fight is up to her. You nod, hoping for the best.
Cassandra cuts out the lamp, and you crawl under your blankets. You hear Cassandra shuffling around under hers, and then only the sound of the wind and the rain outside. For a moment, it's almost relaxing, if you didn't know that something was very wrong out there. You give yourself the shivers thinking about it, then kick off the blankets. You crawl across the floor until you find Cassandra.
"What are you doing?" She whispers. "I told you we can't do this again." You slip your hand under the blanket and find her bare leg, running your fingers up to her knee. She sighs softly. "Please, we really shouldn't."
But she doesn't fight as you slip under the blanket with her, or kiss her from her toes up to her lips. Her body is putty in your hands as you softly and gently make love to her, your mouths and hands exploring each other's bodies in the dark. Finally, you pull her atop yourself and enter her, and the two of you find another orgasm together. She collapses atop you and you both drift off to sleep.
It's not much more than an hour later you hear someone banging on the front door.
