Wait to see what the cops do before deciding your actions

You decide it's best to see what the cops do before making any decisions.
The first thing they do is get on the radio to report that the bodies of the two dead cops have been found. You hear one of them say he's going to take his car and look for Fisher.
"I'll go over to where I stashed Fisher's car," you partner whispers. "If they shoot you, it'll hurt, but won't do any harm. Remember to leave a couple of 'em for me."
You nod. Your partner glides off.
There were eight cops and six cars. One of them has gone off to look for Fisher. That leaves seven still here.
They split into three groups of two, each of them exploring a different direction in the woods, and one to stand guard, in the middle of the circle of light thrown by the spotlights.
One group of two is sort of coming towards your direction. But it might be easier, if you can sneak behind, to take out the lone cop.
