You decide not to be rash and attack but at the same time you are not going to willingly follow the woman into an obvious trap. You may be more brawn than brains but you know how to handle a sticky situation and following a cultist anywhere is not the plan of action you plan on taking. When talking with your enemy, never give them anything extra to use against you. That room is a trap for sure. You look at the woman confidently but dangerously. "I think i'd be more comfortable right here." You almost smile as the woman seems somewhat taken aback.

"Oh?" She says, stopping from turning to move to the room. She then seems to understand and smiles. "I see." She steps forward to you then, only feet away now. "I am Katelin, and you must be our hero Ayumi." It is your turn to be startled. They knew about you? Did they know you were coming? Did someone in the last town give you away? She seems to see the startlement on your face. "Yes, we were expecting you. My orders are to kill you on sight." A chill goes down your spine as she says that, a strange twinkle in her eyes. Your hand instantly goes for your sword but she cuts in before you draw it. "But I think those are hasty orders."

She seems to wait for you to calm down then, your hand resting on your hilt. "I'd rather give you a chance to live, see what you do with it." Your glare doesn't seem to faze her, even making her smile. You don't like to be played with. "There is an arena further down on the first level, a suitable place for a fighter like you. If you can make it there by yourself I may consider letting you past to the second cave levels. Doesn't that sound fair?"

You look at her squinting slightly, as if there was something more to see. There has to be some kind of catch here. She has orders to kill you but she is going to give you a chance? Is she really, or is she just playing with you or biding time for more guards to come along?

The woman simply laughs slightly as you don't say anything then simply turns to walk away. "Do as you wish fighter. I have business with my apprentice for a short while so i'll be in here. When I come out I have an errand or two to run but i'll eventually make my way to the arenas. I hope to see you there when I get there. If I see you elsewhere... well I'll have to kill you." She says that with her back to you, walking towards the rusty metal door she came from.

"So that's it?" You shout at her as she walks away, hand tightening on the hilt of your sword. "No traps? No games? Surely you face punishment for letting me by."

Katelin turns her head back at you with a smile then, a strange twinkle in her yellow eyes. "Let them try."

Hand on the hilt of your sword still you watch her walk away, her hips swaying perfectly against her black suit. The woman has confidence and you get a definite hint of power coming from her. She might not be someone you want to get on the wrong side of anytime soon. You heed her words and try to make sense of them as she walks away, this may be an important opportunity for you.
