You turn your head and, to your horror, see the creature's maw open wide. The tentacles slowly lower you towards it. You scream, but there is no one to hear.

The tentacles deposit you in the creature's belly, then withdraw. The mouth closes and you feel something jab into your back. You are unable to move, as the paralyzing enzyme freezes your muscles. Then you feel sharp spikes embed themselves in your body. You stay alive for several hours as your muscles are liquefied first, before your vital organs finally succumb. When death comes it's almost a relief.
