The Mind Controlling Device/(Device) Tell your mother to hide under the table!

You quickly touch the device and think: Quick! Get under the table and stay quiet!
You: Mom, hide! Lisa is coming!
Within seconds, your mother hides her nude self under the table, the table cloth is just big enough to hide her whole body. You then turn your attention to the doorway leading out of the kitchen, Lisa then stands on the other side of the doorway.
Lisa: "I'm off to school now, bye."
You: "Bye."
She then looks around the kitchen real quick, trying to find her mother.
Lisa: "Where's mom?"
You: "Oh, she's gone somewhere else. I'll tell her you said bye."
You start to panic, thinking that she may look around the house to find her first before she leaves. You hope to god, that your just overthinking it a bit.
Lisa: "Oh, ok. See you later... ... Why is there a pile of clothes on the floor?"
Crap! You forgot about your mother's clothes were still on the floor! Got to think of something up, quickly!
You: "Oh, those? Mom said she was going to do some ironing, I guess she forgot to pick them up."
Lisa: "Well, take them to her and tell her she forgot some."
With that, Lisa finally leaves and heads outside the door. Phew! Dodged the bullet on that last one... You then lift up the table covers, seeing your mother is sitting perfectly still. You think it's time for to come out now. Touching the device, you think: It's safe to come out.
You: "Ok, she's gone, you can out now."
She comes out and sits back on her chair before asking you something.
Mother: "Why did I need to hide?"
You: "Um..."
You didn't think your mother would ask you that, you got to think of a good reason. But your having trouble with what sounds reasonable, you then remember you can use the device to help you make her believe in one of your reasons that seem a bit farfetched. You place a finger on the device and think: You and Lisa was playing a game.
You: "You was playing Hide and Seek with Lisa, and you won."
Mother: "Oh yes, I remember now."
Ok, that was WAY too risky! You need to think of safer things to do when your not fully alone with someone. Try to remember that! You look at your beautiful, naked mother as she finishes up her newspaper. She stands and sets the paper aside and starts collecting dishes.
