Tell your crew to head for the island as fast as possible, hoping to outrun the other ship and the enraged female captain

"Head for the island!" you say. "Our ship is faster than theirs."
Your ship is about 1/3 of a knot faster than the other ship. You slowly pull away, despite their best efforts. As you make good your escape, you see the captain shaking her fist in rage as her form dwindles into the distance.
The next day, you arrive at the island. After several hours, you are able to locate the correct area to dig. 20 minutes later, your men are breaking open a chest full of gold and jewels.
"Load up, men -- and lass," you say, as you notice Raquel glaring at your use of the male prounoun. After a couple of trips, the ship is loaded with treasure and you prepare to make sail.

From around a bend in the coast, the ship with the female captain and crew appears. They have cutlasses and rapiers at the ready and are closing fast. As they draw their ship next to yours, the captain glares at you.
"Speed won't help you now," she snarls. "Hand over the treasure."
Tell her if she wants the treasure, she'll have to fight her way through your crew to get it
