You order several of your men to hide behind crates and barrels in a backstreet. When they are ready, you run to the first pair of Navy officers you meet.

"Sir! Sir!" you exclaim, grabbing one of them by the arm. "Murder! In the backstreet over there!"

The officers trade a glance.

"We ain't in duty," says one, apparently glad to have an excuse not to deal with a murder scene.

"True that," nodded the other. "Ain't our job anyway. Go tell a guard."

They walk away.
