Marlon gently caresses Mindy's cheek and runs his hand through her hair in a comforting gesture. She presses tightly against him and buries her face against his chest.
After a while her body stops quivering. But she still clings to her brother.
"You're the only person who's ever cared about me. I don't want to ever move again, just stay in your arms like this forever."
Marlon chuckles. "Don't worry, Mindy. I'm not going to let anything bad happen to you."
