You infiltrate the hangar of one of the minor podracers, placing your lightsaber hilt against his back and activating it, burning through his torso in a single flash of red. As the human's body cools, you take in your surroundings. The racer's pod is in the centre of the room, ready to be used in the Boonta Eve race. A daring thought flashes in your mind.

Clearly the Jedi and the Queen plan on their boy winning this race. It must be more important than a mere gamble to them. If you were to enter the race in the dead racer's stead, and stop the child from winning, it would certainly interfere with any strategies they had in place.
