Rather than engage in any more mischief, you sneak back out of Debbie’s apartment. You leave her door unlocked of course, in case someone else wants to play with her while she sleeps.

You look for your shoes. You remember leaving them in the hallway, but you don’t see them. You do see that your neighbor, Bill, has left his door slightly ajar. You wonder if he might have swiped your shoes. He would look silly wearing heels, but you never know…
