You decide that you’re overreacting so you stay put. As you sit waiting for Ling to reemerge from the gas station 3 men with hoods get out of the car. Two approach the gas station and one approaches your position with a revolver in hand. You are trapped and have no way of getting out of the line of fire and even if so Ling is still in danger.
In broken English the assailant demands you to get out of the car slowly which you carefully oblige. He stands just within reach of you with his revolver and your training has kicked in and your mind is racing fast. You are told to turn around and face the vehicle.
