Serenity: complete the quest

Title: Serenity the novice

Location: The slums
Serenity has done well and she was proud of herself for her brave act. The sewers are now more cleaner and free to flow since the rats no longer clog up and infest the river system. There was one very big problem still remaining inside of the tunnels, but who knows how long it's been in there for, it was only the little rats that were causing the problem in the first place. Serenity was wet, cold and dirty from her venture into the sewers. Using her blood covered hands to cover up her wounds as best she could, Serenity makes her way back through the slums by going through the same alleyway that lead her to the sewers.
"That's looks like it hurts..." Whispers a voice in a dark corner. "Dem rats get ya?"
Serenity swerves her gaze to the darkness and is surprised to see a man in hooded rags. It's the same man Serenity encountered earlier; the beggar.
"Heh, yeah it does sting a bit." Serenity wittingly says with a smirk.
"Lemme have a look." Gestures the hooded man with his hands. "Hmmm, yes... Those rats really did open the flesh. A simple bandage won't do."
The seedy figure reaches out with a glow resonating from his palms. A golden light auras from his fingertips and flows towards Serenity's wounds. A warm and comforting sensation took Serenity by surprise as she watches her cuts, scrapes and bits vanish with only a gentle tingle left behind. This beggar really knows how to use healing magics, such a kind thing to do.
"Oh my!" Serenity gasps in amazement. "You're a healer!?"
"That I am, me dear."
"Why are you out here in the streets, why not teach young mages about healing magic?"
"Trust me, they wouldn't take someone like meself." The croaky man lowers his healing hands as his magic dissipates.
"So what you're a beggar. I'm sure they'll take you in." Serenity tried to reassure the poor man.
"Who says I'm a beggar now?" Questions the man.
Serenity was put off by this. She did give him gold earlier before she went in the sewers and it looks like he crawled out of one of the pipes themselves, but saying that he wasn't a beggar was a bit strange.
"I best be off, me dear." The strange man says as he walks backwards into the dark corner he came from.
Serenity says nothing, she only focuses as the hooded man blends into the darkness, and with a blink of an eye, the outline of the figure was gone with a shimmer of gold spitting out into the air and landing on the ground. Investigating the stone floor, Serenity picks up 5 gold pieces that were left behind by the man, the very same ones that she gave him. It was like he gave back her kindness with healing to go with it.
Serenity's bleeding is now healed!
Serenity found some gold!
