You put the letter away safely. It's thoughtful of your father to tell you the reason for having you marry him - but there's no real need to know. For now, you'd prefer to try and solve the mystery yourself. Grinning, you tell Duran to go get your horse ready. You're setting out to find this Ruairi fellow and anybody who can't keep up with you gets left behind. Knowing you're serious about that threat, your guards quickly get mounted and your servants are left behind as you set out. You can almost smell the excitement waiting for you in Ruairi's land and maintain a fast pace until your horse gets tired and you grudgingly slow down. You don't like abusing animals just to satisfy your own impatience. It sure is tempting though.
